Project Description	The primary objective of this cruise was to run a series
of MCS lines on the continental shelf,on the upper and
lower continental rise and in the abyssal plain in an
effort to compare MCS and sonobuoy methods for determining
sediment velocities in areas typical of the major
physiographic provinces along the eastern seaboard.

Position_Correlation_Method: Position is at center of cmp bin and time
is the time the ships's antenna was over that position.

 Trace_Position: trace

field data: cdp gathers at LDEO

processed data files:

Below is a list of SEG-Y stack files including header info from first
and last traces each file.

Some header times may be incorrect. The times in the cdpnav
files should be correct. Lines 67, 71 and 72 are not included.
I'm not sure whether the stack tapes were unreadable or the lines
never processed. There should be records that say which but I don't
have them available right now.

The delays and number of samples may vary within a line. 3072 was
put in the binary header for the number of samples for all lines.

 Fields are as follows:

LINE CDP SHOT SOURCE DATE TIME REC_DELAY SAMPLES SAMP_INT
                          POINT
