    The following lines had no Navlog information in the SEG-D external headers.
    The number in bytes 9-12 of the SEG-Y trace header is the FFID number and the
    date/time is from the SEG-D general header.

    All other lines did have Navlog information in most of the SEG-D external 
    headers.  The number in bytes 9-12 of the SEG-Y trace header is the Spectra
    shot number and the date/time is the Spectra date/time. The msecs of the Spectra
    hi-res time are in bytes 167-168 of the SEG-Y trace header.
    
    For both SEG-Y files and SEG-D tar files the sequence number 
    was used as the primary ID in the filenames. The scientists' line name 
    was also included in the filename.
